Tanuki has created this beautiful pair of jeans using a new limited edition fabric called "Zetto Benkei". This unique material is based on the highly textured Zetto fabric and has a soft mellow yellow beige color derived from the buds of the Japanese pagoda tree. The denim is crafted on an old shuttle loom in Japan, giving it a distinctive irregular surface that is both durable and unique. The design is inspired by the legendary samurai Musashibō Benkei, renowned for his toughness and loyalty. Just like Benkei was a loyal companion, these jeans will be a dependable and stylish addition to your wardrobe.

To achieve the lovely color, Texas cotton is used for the yarns, which are rope-dyed and dipped in pure indigo seven times. The denim is then woven with ultra-low tension, allowing the dark-beige weft to shine through the surface. The dark beige weft provides the denim with a vintage feel and a crisp texture. As the jeans are worn, the contrast between the dark blue and dark beige becomes more pronounced, resulting in unique and interesting fades.

The jeans feature a tapered fit with a longer rise, roomy thighs, and tapered legs, making them comfortable and fashionable. The electric blue selvedge line running along the edge of the denim is just the beginning of the exceptional features of this garment. Custom copper buttons and copper rivets give a classic touch of luxury, while the custom vegetable-tanned deerskin leather patch adds a unique touch of style. The Japanese extra-durable herringbone cotton-lined fabric in front and back pockets ensures durability and longevity and the electric blue inner seam thread adds a subtle pop of color.
