3sixteen has crafted this exquisite hand-screened fabric as part of their ongoing exploration into distorted variations of classic patterns. The Drunk Chess print playfully reimagines the classic checkerboard pattern with a creative twist.

It features a custom fabric developed exclusively for 3sixteen in India, utilizing slub yarns to create a streakier, textured fabric. The material itself is made of lyocell, a cellulose fiber derived from eucalyptus pulp. The processes used in creating the fabric are environmentally friendly, with minimal impact and water usage. The resulting fabric is breathable and temperature-regulating, perfectly complementing the shirt's silhouette.

Founded in LA by Johan Lam and Andrew Chen over a decade ago, 3sixteen's philosophy is evident in pieces they've developed since 2008: shirts, jackets, basics and accessories all take cues in form and function from their jeans.
