There is a famous anecdote of Yukimori praying under a moon, vowing to endure "Seven Misfortunes and Eight Pains" (a Buddhist term of hardship) in exchange for realizing his desire to revive the Amago clan. Yukimori was revered as the fearless leader of the Amago army in a zealous mission to restore the clan's power after their defeat to the rival Mori clan.
