There's no denying the range that blue jeans have. But the best black jeans for men can do just about anything blue jeans can do—and sometimes even better. The right pair of black jeans are the perfect foundation for building big fits. This limited edition from samurai is crafted using the brand's iconic "Zero Bushido Denim", a 17oz Japanese selvedge denim black sulphur dyed. Utilizing the same yarns of the "Zero Bushido" fabric, the denim incorporates a custom 6x5 twill woven on a vintage shuttle loom at low tension to create an uneven rough surface.
These jeans are full of details, such as the silver lamé selvedge ID, which symbolizes the "Katana Ha" (Samurais sword cutting edge), the special edition black sheep leather patch or the black tab on the rear right pocket. Other superb details are the iron-made rising sun buttons or the "syogyomujo 諸行無常 " jacquard pocket lining and back rivets. Syogyomujo is a Japanese word that means everything is ephemeral, referring to denim evolution.
The cut is based on the iconic S710. It's a versatile slim straight cut that can adapt to all body types.
Samurai jeans have become a legend in the Japanese denim scene. Created in Osaka by Toru Nogami in 1997, Samurai represents the perfection of Japanese tradition, with its iconography of Sengoku-era Samurais and the search for the best and nothing but the best through materials, artisan garment-making techniques and unique detailing.
