One of the most awaited AW22 pieces has finally arrived, just in time for the cold season.
This beauty from Samurai is woven from indigo rope-dyed threads that will gradually fade, developing an electric blue that perfectly contrasts with the red and white lines.
The fabric's texture is unique, rough and slubby to the touch, with a lot of character and a heavyweight. It stands at 12oz.
Like any other Samurai garment, the construction is impeccable. It features indigo-dyed nut buttons, triple chain-stitched side seams with run-off, and reinforced double-fabric forearms. In addition, the cuffs, collar and button panel feature a navy cotton cloth lining for extra durability.
Samurai jeans have become a legend in the Japanese denim scene. Created in Osaka by Toru Nogami in 1997, Samurai represents the perfection of Japanese tradition, with its iconography of Sengoku-era Samurais and the search for the best and nothing but the best through materials, artisan garment-making techniques and unique detailing.
