Smith’s Leather Balm is handmade in Maine (USA). It is a product that respects the environment, is safe for the skin and non-toxic to health, made from 3 all-natural ingredients:

• 100% organic cocoa butter: cocoa butter is rich in vitamin E and contains natural antioxidants that help fight premature ageing and deterioration.
• 100% organic beeswax: it works as a moisturizer, softening the leather while acting as a natural waterproofer, sealing the leather and protecting it from harsh elements.
• 100% pure sweet almond oil: it is rich in vitamins A, E and B, and it works to improve the overall look and feel of leather goods.

Shane and Mandy Smith, having tired of using heavy and toxic oil-based products, decided to get to grips with this issue and make their own balm for looking after their leather boots and accessories in the best way possible. They came up with a product of very high quality that is friendly to the environment.

This balm has a neutral colour and works on all smooth leathers, including cordovans. With no animal fats, synthetic compounds, preservatives or petroleum-based products, Smith’s Leather Balm restores, protects and preserves all smooth leather goods, providing its best results when applied by hand on clean and dry leather goods.

HOW TO APPLY:

Start by ensuring your leather goods are clean and dry, then test out a very small amount of Smith’s Leather Balm on a hidden patch of leather to preview the results.

Begin with a small amount of balm (a small amount is sufficient), and apply it onto the leather by hand, massaging it in circular movements. If you prefer, you can also apply it with a rag.

As the leather starts to absorb the balm, lighter shades of leather goods may naturally darken a bit, but when they are dry, they will return to their original shade. Keep in mind that the more product you apply, the more it will darken.

Reapply Smith’s Leather Balm as needed to protect, restore, and extend the life of your leather goods."
