Crafted from the iconic 'D01' denim fabric, this jacket reimagines a 1940s classic with selvedge detailing on the collar, symbolizing Studio D'Artisan's influence on vintage denim. Meticulously replicated from archived denim pieces, it boasts a distinct uneven texture using a robust no. 6 yarn blend and undergoes 20 rounds of natural indigo dyeing with the Kasezome technique by artisans in Tokushima. Featuring a classic Type I fit and a selvedge cinch back fastener, it pays homage to vintage Selvedge jackets of the 1930s and 1940s.

Despite being a Japanese jacket, we find the sizing of this Type II to be more Western than Japanese. If you usually wear a size M in American jackets, you'll find a suitable fit with this jacket in size 40 (M).
