Secret Denim quickly rose to cult status among denim enthusiasts worldwide for its exceptional texture, luxurious softness, and dramatic fading evolution. Woven from 3.7x3.7 extra-thick yarns, the fabric is crafted from a secret blend of three distinct cotton types. It’s woven at ultra-low tension on vintage shuttle looms, resulting in an unsanforized 20oz fabric that is beefy, knotty, and richly textured—with slub, roughness, and hairiness that are instantly recognizable. The warp is rope-dyed using Oni’s secret indigo formula, producing a uniquely tinted blue tone, while the weft is dyed beige to perfectly complement the fabric’s front-facing hue.

Based on Oni Denim’s highly regarded ONI-200 wide-leg jeans offer a perfect blend of vintage workwear aesthetics and a relaxed yet balanced fit. This model features premium touches like custom copper hardware, reinforced pocket bags, heavy-duty bar tacks, and a custom vegetable-tanned cowhide leather patch—ensuring every element reflects the artistry and soul behind the denim.

Fit Notes: The low-tension weave means that the Secret Denim fabric will naturally stretch significantly (up to 1.5" to 2"). If they feel snug initially, rest assured they will adjust to your body for the perfect fit after a few wears. We recommend choosing your usual size for a comfortable fit or one size down if you prefer a closer fit and your thighs allow it. As always, refer to the size chart for the most accurate sizing. The denim is unsanforized but pre-washed to prevent further shrinkage.
