Despite being a Japanese brand, we find the sizing of Tanuki tees to be more Western than Japanese. If you usually wear a size M in American t-shirts, you'll find a suitable fit with this piece in size M. However, as always, we recommend consulting our size chart for the perfect fit.

Entirely made in Japan, from spinning to processing, this t-shirt embodies Tanuki's commitment to quality. Expect remarkable fades from the dark blue "heavy Shinkai" fabric, aptly named after the deep blue sea. Finished with chunky blue side seams and reinforced ribs at the neck, these shirts are built to the highest Japanese standards.

Featuring the embroidered Tanuki "二" (Ni) logo on the shoulder, symbolizing past and future in Japanese Kanji, with red and blue colors paying homage to Japan's flag and denim craftsmanship heritage.

The Tanuki brand was established in 2016 in Okayama Prefecture. It comprises a small group of great artisans who are passionate about denim and boast more than 30 years’ experience in other brands in the industry.
