The leather is sourced from Himeji, Japan, home to world-renowned tanneries such as Nitta, which has been producing high-quality horsehide since 1946. Only a small percentage of hides meet Double Helix’s strict standards, resulting in a material that is both dense, durable, and full of character.

The design is defined by its distinctive Western Pioneer silhouette, highlighted by the iconic inverted triangle back detailing. This complex construction flows seamlessly into the hem belt, creating a balanced and flattering shape that enhances the wearer’s physique.

Working with thick horsehide presents significant challenges, but Double Helix achieves a refined result through precise pattern making and high-skill stitching.
