Based on the kind of Henley tees that became popular around the turn of the century as sportswear (it was the traditional uniform of rowers from the British city of Henley-on-Thames, home of the Henley Royal Regatta in the 1890s)
The cotton used is 100% Suvin Gold cotton, one of the best and most expensive and luxury cottons in the world. This cotton is grown in India and is an extreme long staple cotton with very fine fibers It´s extremelydifficult to cultivate. IT needs new seeds to be created each year, which is costly and time-consuming. This results in a very soft denim with strong threads.
Suvin Gold is a hybrid of an Egyptian cotton “Sujata” and a Sea Island Cotton derivative from the West Indies known as “St. Vincent.” It has the fineness of 2.8 micro and the thinnest compared to other super long cotton, therefore, the texture is particularly soft, strongly insisting on the characteristics of the material as a product. Because it contains natural wax, oils and fats, it has silky luster and drape and smooth texture. You can enjoy the soft texture of raw cotton and does not easily cause change in texture even for repeated washing.
Because it has a fine fineness and a lot of wax, it has an elegant luster, and it has a luxurious feeling which is not unique in addition to its texture.
Only 1.500 to 2.000 tables are produced per year, while being a cotton With silky luster and cashmere-like feel, it will be the finest cotton with very rare value.
In this t-shirt, Suvin Gold cotton is arranged as a thick thread and this is called Ramayana. Generally, thin high-grade materials such as Suvin are often made into threads of fine counts, but in order to make thick indium fabrics like UES, they spun boldly on thick threads. The fiber length and the thickness of the fiber have the property not to be defeated to the finest sea-island cotton. Therefore, when wearing this Ramayana material, you will be amazed by the smoothness of the touch.
It´s possible to dye a piece of fabric at different stages of the process; it could be dyed when it is still yarns, or when it is turned into fabrics, or when it is made into clothes. When UES is making the Ramayana T-shirt, they handle the coloring process when they are still cottons. During the textile production process, cottons with different concentration are added in, hence it can result in products with natural colors
