Warehouse & Co is an Osaka-based heritage house founded in 1995 by brothers Kenichi and Koji Shiotani — the youngest of the Osaka Five, the brands that revived selvedge denim in Japan. Its motto has not changed since: the faithful reproduction of vintage clothing. Every model starts from an original garment in the brand’s archive, studied thread by thread — yarn count, indigo cast, stitch density, hardware — and rebuilt in Japan to give up nothing to the piece it copies. The result is denim that fades the uneven, high-contrast way old cloth does, loopwheeled jerseys knitted in Wakayama on pre-1960s machines, and workwear that is, to all practical purposes, the vintage original — only new.
