The Denime “Lot. 224” 66 Model is a cornerstone piece for vintage denim enthusiasts, faithfully recreating the iconic 1966 Levi’s 501—a pivotal model known for its clean lines and refined construction.
Since 1988, Denime has built its reputation on precise reproductions of mid-century American denim, and under Warehouse & Co., this legacy reaches new levels of authenticity and craftsmanship.
The 14.5oz selvedge denim is developed in collaboration with Kurabo Industries, using uneven, ring-spun yarns based on vintage recipes. The yarns are rope-dyed in indigo, and treated with Warehouse’s low-temperature refining process, preserving a white core while saturating the exterior—resulting in high-contrast fading over time.
Woven on vintage Toyoda GL3 shuttle looms, the fabric features a subtly uneven texture with a classic, vintage feel.
The 224 fit, inspired by the 1966 model, offers a mid-high rise with a straight leg and slight taper from the knee down, making it a versatile silhouette suitable for a wide range of body types. In line with the original design, rivets are replaced by bartacks, reflecting Levi’s innovation at the time.
Every detail—from the paper patch and stitching to the custom iron buttons—has been carefully reproduced to capture the essence of Denime’s founding era.
