The fabric is a newly developed 14oz Japanese selvedge denim, woven from 100% American cotton selected for strength and longevity. Both the warp and weft yarns are sulfur-dyed black, resulting in a deep, rich black tone with subtle depth rather than a flat finish. Woven on vintage shuttle looms at higher tension, the denim has a compact, durable feel that wears in cleanly while developing character over time.

As with all Circle series jeans, the defining feature is Japan Blue’s curved Circle waistband, engineered to follow the natural shape of the waist. This construction minimizes gaping at the back and provides a noticeably more ergonomic fit, especially appreciated in higher-rise, straight-leg cuts.

The J414 cut is a classic straight silhouette with a high rise and slightly wide leg opening. Fit Notes: These jeans have a standard sizing. We recommend choosing your usual size. However, as always, we recommend checking the size chart first to find your perfect size. The fabric is sanforized, so there will be no shrinkage. The waist will experience the typical stretching seen in sanforized denim. Expect approximately 0.5 to 1 inch of stretching.
