Every yarn is hank-dyed multiple times, resulting in a rich, complex blue that develops a distinctive fade with wear. For this edition, both warp and weft yarns are crafted from 7-count cotton, with the weft first dyed beige before indigo immersion, creating a subtle, warm undertone unique to this denim.

The relaxed tapered fit offers room in the top block and thighs, narrowing gently toward the ankle for a modern, streamlined profile. Signature details include a 5-button fly, brass rivets, embossed iron buttons, and a blue selvedge ID. A deerskin leather patch and their signature "Shoai" leaf embroidery on the back pocket.
