As many other Samurai Jeans, the S000JP-AX runs slightly small in the one wash version. In general, we recommend choosing one size larger than your usual. However, as always, we recommend checking the size chart first to find your perfect size. It is unsanforized but one washed, so there will be no shrinkage.

AI Plus denim isn't just known for its special rope-dyed technique. The warp features Samurai's original high-twist yarn, renowned for its rugged texture, while the weft utilizes a unique slubby yarn, incorporating the brand's organic "Samurai Cotton" grown by hand in Japan. This Japanese cotton, characterized by its neppy appearance due to shorter fibers, combined with the rich indigo dye, produces a depth of color and uniqueness unparalleled by traditional indigo methods. Moreover, the selvedge line is woven from the same denim warp, ensuring its color will gradually evolve with washing and wear.
