Unlike conventional methods, this unique approach involves slowly maturing the cotton in a temperature and humidity-controlled room for 30 to 50 days, restoring its original plump and fluffy texture.

Samurai Jeans takes pride in using carefully aged cotton to spin their threads, which are then knitted on a vintage machine in Wakayama, Japan. Due to the high-gauge thread used for the intricate inlay knitting, their old loopwheel machines can produce only about 48 cm of fabric per hour, ensuring an exceptional level of craftsmanship. Despite its thickness, the fabric offers a surprising level of stretch, unlike standard hanging knitted fabric.

The front graphic of this shirt features a drawing of Konohana Sakuya Hime, a goddess from Japanese mythology. Said to be the most beautiful goddess of all, she is enshrined in a shrine on Mount Fuji, Japan's most famous mountain. She is revered in Japan as a symbol of beauty and transience.

All Samurai tees run smaller in size compared to your regular American size. This version runs even smaller than other Samurai tees, so if you wear a size M in American t-shirts, you will need to select a size L or even XL in this.
