Fit Notes: Although it's a Japanese reproduction, the sizing is more aligned with Western standards. If you wear a size M in American jackets, size 40 (M) should fit comfortably. Pre-washed to prevent further shrinkage. Please consult the size chart for the perfect fit.

After thorough analysis of the original fabric, TCB chose a 14 oz EMOT blended cotton (from Eastern Memphis, New Orleans, and Texas) featuring hard-twisted yarns with pronounced neppiness. This ensures the authentic texture and indigo fading characteristic of vintage WW2 denim, with the yarn's core remaining untouched by dye.

The unique unevenness of the threads is faithfully reproduced using vintage Toyoda shuttle looms, and the cotton blend is designed to replicate the creamy tinge of original WW2 fabric, as opposed to the modern trend of bright white cotton. The jacket features unfinished steel laurel wreath buttons, adhering to WW2 workwear regulations and allowing them to rust over time, adding to the authenticity.

In comparison to the TCB 50's jacket, the WW2 jacket cut is adjusted for a more authentic fit, with slightly more relaxed armholes and a shorter dress length. Impeccable construction and details such as irregular stitching on the cinch further enhance its vintage charm.
