The knitting process relies solely on gravity, resulting in a fabric with minimal built-in stress or tension.
With a loopwheel machine rotating at a leisurely 24 revolutions per minute, producing a mere 8-10 garments worth of fabric per day—significantly less than modern machines—the outcome is a heavyweight, soft, and robust fabric, making it the epitome of the finest sweatshirt material available today.
