Produced exclusively for Attractions at the renowned Moonstar factory in Kurume, Japan, the Jumpin' High Shoes are a robust old-school military high-top trainer — an essential piece embodying the brand's identity. With a shoemaking heritage that reaches back to the late 1800s, Moonstar's Kurume factory has spent over 150 years perfecting the craft of durable, hand-finished sneakers.

Each pair is carefully crafted by artisans using the traditional vulcanized method. Every step — from pulling the upper over the last to attaching each individual component — is done by hand, resulting in a beautiful silhouette, exceptional comfort, and outstanding durability. The custom last was developed from data on over 100,000 foot shapes, ensuring an exceptional fit for a wide range of foot types, while the molded sole supports natural, comfortable walking.

The shoes are built on Moonstar's kiln-fired vulcanization process — a labor-intensive method mastered by only a handful of skilled artisans. Each pair is kiln-fired at 120°C for approximately 70 minutes, a process that cannot be replicated by modern mass production techniques. This slow bond creates a perfect union between the rubber sole and canvas upper, delivering flexibility, long-term durability, and remarkable shape retention over years of use. The foxing tape reinforces the entire perimeter for enhanced durability in all directions.

The design features a classic high-top silhouette with 9 tonal eyelets, a distinctive vulcanized toe cap and bumper for a classic yet light look, a padded insole for daily comfort, and woven cotton laces. Both white and black laces are included for styling versatility.
