Sewing takes place entirely in-house in Odate, Akita Prefecture, using Union Special sewing machines and vintage equipment dating from the late 1800s to the 1960s. This long-selling design — present since Deluxeware's founding — fuses subtle elements from classic shirts, coveralls, and jackets into a single slim, tailored silhouette.

Construction details borrow generously from 1940s work shirts. The inner collar is lined with 11oz duck canvas and topped with a throat tab, while the same canvas reinforces the inner cuffs and chest pocket for extra strength and character. Riveted buttons are tucked away under a hidden placket, creating a clean, smooth front that draws attention to the distinctive chest pocket.
