The waffle fabric is produced on a custom machine that creates its plush feel and structural depth, knit with thick yarn to give the fabric extra volume and a soft hand feel. The body features flat-seam construction to ensure smooth, irritation-free comfort against the skin — interior seams sit flat and remain stress-free during wear. The neck, cuffs, and hem are finished with three-point decorative stitches and reinforced with bar tack stitching to prevent thread fraying.

Because of the nature of the material, the fabric tends to stretch during sewing — so Jackman adjusts the presser foot of the sewing machine specifically for this product and sews slowly to maintain perfect proportions. On the reverse side, the fabrics are constructed laterally to prevent the shirt from drooping during wear, ensuring excellent shape retention over years of use. The mid-neck collar sits at a height that doesn't feel restrictive — wearable without stress, much like a crewneck.

This is the new 2026 version, with the body width increased by 6cm and the length extended by 2cm compared to the previous model — delivering a slightly more relaxed silhouette while preserving all the refined details that define the Jackman Waffle.

Designed with longevity and ease of care in mind, this sweater is made from 100% cotton, naturally resistant to static and fully machine-washable at home.
