The John Lofgren Leather Oil is a carefully developed conditioning treatment created to nourish, protect, and extend the life of high-quality leather boots. Made from a blend of naturally derived ingredients, it delivers deep conditioning while remaining gentle on both the leather and the environment.
Formulated with components such as beeswax, shea butter, lanolin, and deer fat, this oil penetrates the leather to restore flexibility and prevent drying or cracking. At the same time, it adds a degree of water resistance, helping your footwear withstand daily wear and changing conditions.
Unlike pigmented products, this is a neutral conditioner, meaning it won’t alter the original color of the leather. However, as with most conditioning oils, it may slightly darken the leather upon application, enriching its tone and giving it a more saturated, lived-in appearance.
Ideal for smooth cowhide leathers, this oil is particularly suited to the robust materials used in John Lofgren footwear. With regular use, it enhances both the look and performance of your boots, ensuring they age with character while maintaining structural integrity.
Whether used as part of routine maintenance or to revive drier leather, this oil is an essential step in a well-rounded boot care routine.
How to apply: Start by ensuring the leather is clean and dry. Apply a small amount of oil using a soft cotton cloth, working it into the leather with gentle circular motions until evenly distributed. Allow the oil to penetrate for approximately one hour, letting the leather fully absorb the product. Once absorbed, buff with a clean dry cloth and, if desired, finish with a brush for a more even appearance and subtle shine. As with any conditioning product, we recommend testing on a hidden area first, especially on lighter leathers.
