This version features a twisted pewter ring made from solid tin alloy, giving the piece a softer silver-toned finish. The name “Suzu” comes from the Japanese word for tin. It is offered alongside the brass version as a cooler-toned alternative.

The strap itself is made from a premium deerskin leather cord, vegetable-tanned in Japan and carefully finished by hand to reduce shedding while preserving the natural softness and durability of the leather. Deerskin is highly comfortable against the skin and ages beautifully over time.

At the center of the design sits the twisted pewter ring, which serves a clever dual function. When your sunglasses are not being worn, simply fold them and hook them into the ring, turning them into a discreet pendant that rests naturally on the chest. When the sunglasses are back on, the strap becomes a subtle necklace that pairs effortlessly with everyday outfits.

The piece is completed with metal beads and a C-shaped clasp produced by a small family-run metal workshop in Tokyo. The rear clasp allows the length of the strap to be easily adjusted, ensuring a comfortable and personalized fit.
