The Omoto Denim 0611 builds on the same meticulous fabric development as the 0411, but introduces a more accommodating silhouette designed for comfort without compromising structure. Rooted in Kojima’s heritage of precision weaving, this model delivers character and balance in equal measure.

The denim is a custom 15.5oz Japanese selvedge, woven on vintage Toyoda shuttle looms under extremely low tension. The warp uses heavily textured long slub yarns, while the weft incorporates nep yarns spun from recycled cotton, creating a surface full of nuance and movement. The result is a fabric with visible texture, depth, and vertical fading potentialthat becomes more pronounced over time.

Dyed using 100% pure indigo rope dyeing, the yarns retain a white core, allowing for high-contrast fades as the denim breaks in. Originally developed in the early 1990s with extra-dark indigo tones, the fabric offers a strong aging journey while maintaining a classic, understated look.

The 0611 silhouette is a refined relaxed fit—a straight cut that gently tapers from the thigh to the hem, paired with a mid-high rise. It provides more room through the top block while maintaining a clean, tailored profile. This makes it ideal for those who prefer added comfort in the hips and thighs without moving into overly wide proportions. The balance between ease and structure allows the jeans to transition effortlessly from casual to more considered styling.

Despite being unsanforized, the denim has been one-washed, meaning no further shrinkage should occur. Over time, the waistband will give slightly, allowing the fit to settle naturally.

As with all Omoto pieces, the finishing details are thoughtful and functional: a “Laundry Record” tag for documenting wear, custom engraved buttons, copper rivets, durable pocket lining, and a vegetable-tanned natural cowhide leather patch—subtle elements that reflect the brand’s craftsmanship-first philosophy.

Fit Notes: This model fits true to size for Omoto Denim. The brand produces only even-numbered sizes, and we recommend taking your usual size. Compared to most global American brands, sizing is similar or slightly smaller, so you may take the same size or one size up if you are between sizes. As always, we strongly recommend checking our size chart to find your perfect size. The denim is unsanforized but has been one-washed, so no further shrinkage is expected. With regular wear, the waistband will stretch approximately 1 inch, allowing the fit to settle comfortably over time. That said, we don’t recommend sizing down, as starting too tight may cause discomfort and alter the intended fit of the garment.
