The yarn blend combines short-staple Memphis cotton (65%) and long-staple Zimbabwe cotton (35%), striking a balance between character and durability.

The base fabric is a 13.5oz Japanese selvedge denim, rope-dyed in pure indigo with a white weft to ensure authentic fade potential. For this edition, Omoto applies a multi-stage finishing process that includes pumice stone washing, light bleaching, and softening treatments, resulting in a convincingly aged appearance.

Each pair is hand-finished by skilled artisans, with distressing applied in a way that mirrors natural wear patterns developed over years of use. The outcome is a soft, broken-in denim with vintage light blue tones, subtle whiskering, and authentic roping, while still retaining depth and texture beneath the surface.

The fit follows Omoto’s Relax Fit silhouette—a mid-rise design with a roomy top block and comfortable thigh, gently tapering toward the hem. It offers ease without excess bulk, maintaining a clean, balanced line suitable for everyday wear.

Fit Notes: This model fits true to size for Omoto Denim. The brand produces only even-numbered sizes, and we recommend taking your usual size. Compared to most global American brands, sizing is similar or slightly smaller, so you may take the same size or one size up if you are between sizes. As always, we strongly recommend checking our size chart to find your perfect size. The denim has undergone a 7-year wash process, so no shrinkage is expected. With regular wear, the waistband will stretch approximately 1 inch, allowing the fit to settle comfortably over time.
