Woven on antique shuttle looms, the fabric carries a naturally supple hand feel while retaining subtle surface irregularities that give it depth and authenticity. The low-tension weaving process produces a material that feels soft yet structured, balancing refinement with character.
The yarns are thread-dyed for enhanced color depth, then finished using a traditional discharge printing technique carried out by experienced Japanese craftsmen. Rather than simply layering pigment on the surface, discharge printing removes dye to create the pattern, resulting in a design that feels integrated into the fabric itself. The original "Kojima" motif reinforces its regional identity, paying homage to Japan's historic denim capital.
