The ONI 01507L-HOX-OLB takes the iconic Type I denim jacket silhouette and reinterprets it through ONI's most distinctive original fabric. Familiar in shape, but unmistakably its own — a workwear jacket built to be worn hard and aged well.

The jacket is cut from ONI's proprietary 13 oz heavy oxford cotton — a denser, more substantial interpretation of standard oxford cloth with a firm hand and a pronounced textured surface. Sulfur-dyed in a deep olive brown shade, the fabric is engineered to age naturally, fading gradually with wear and developing a patina that is entirely unique to each piece. The weave starts structured and intentional; with washing and use it softens progressively, finding a balance between toughness and comfort that only improves over time.

While the silhouette stays true to the classic Type I, this version features a slightly extended body length — a considered modification that improves everyday usability without disrupting the iconic proportions. Heritage details are preserved throughout: a single chest pocket, pleated front, and adjustable back cinch all remain faithful to the original design. The result is a jacket that respects its reference point while feeling entirely relevant to daily wear.

Fit Notes: This model fits true to size for Oni and most Japanese brands. Compared to most global American brands, a size 42 fits similarly to a Large. As always, we strongly recommend checking our size chart and comparing it with your best-fitting jacket to find the perfect size. The fabric is unsanforized but the jacket has been one-washed, so no shrinkage is expected.
