This coverall introduces one of the brand's most recent fabric developments: an original "Long Slub" denim that captures everything Oishi-san is celebrated for — but pushed even further. The fabric features an indigo warp with a natural weft, giving it a rugged, textured look defined by its distinctive elongated slub character.

Despite the substantial 13.5oz weight, the cloth feels surprisingly light and comfortable to wear from the very first day. The slub yarns are what set this fabric apart — exceptionally irregular in thickness and structure, they create an elongated, highly expressive surface texture that will evolve dramatically over time, revealing a beautifully contrasted patina as the indigo fades against the retained natural weft. Few fabrics in the ONI lineup age with quite this level of drama.

The silhouette follows classic chore coat principles — clean, functional, and highly wearable. It layers effortlessly over a shirt or knit, making it an ideal companion for transitional seasons. Whether paired with indigo denim and a white tee or worn as part of a tonal outfit, it delivers a grounded, heritage-inspired look with a contemporary edge.

Practicality remains at the core of the design. The coverall features dual chest pockets — including an internal pocket for added security — alongside spacious hip patch pockets. Fit Notes: This model fits true to size for Oni and most Japanese brands. Compared to most global American brands, a size 42 fits similarly to a Large. As always, we strongly recommend checking our size chart and comparing it with your best-fitting jacket to find the perfect size. The fabric is unsanforized but the jacket has been one-washed, so no shrinkage is expected.
