This process preserves the integrity of the cotton fibers, resulting in yarns with a naturally irregular, hand-spun appearance and subtle texture throughout.

Woven on 1950s shuttle looms, the denim delivers a balanced combination of structure, softness, and long-term durability. The warp is dyed using ONI’s secret indigo formula, producing a rich greencast indigo tone that evolves beautifully over time, revealing depth and character with wear.

Design-wise, this model stands apart from traditional denim jackets. It combines pleated front details typical of Type II jackets with the functional character of coveralls, including distinctive waist pockets inspired by early workwear garments. The cuffs are also finished in a coverall style, further reinforcing its utilitarian roots.

The jacket features a unique T-shaped pattern construction through the body and sleeves, along with triangular underarm gussets, improving mobility and comfort—an often overlooked but highly functional detail rooted in traditional garment engineering.
