This is a reinterpretation of the 'D01,' Studio D'Artisan's pioneering denim masterpiece that disrupted the vintage denim scene in 1980s Japan. Returning to their roots, SDA meticulously examined archived pieces of these jeans to replicate the distinct uneven texture of the fabric using a robust no. 6 yarn blend. Going the extra mile, the yarns undergo 20 rounds of natural indigo dyeing using the revered Kasezome (skein dyeing) technique by seasoned artisans in Tokushima. Featuring a classic wide-straight fit, the "Origin" jeans are adorned with a Selvedge cinch back fastener, paying homage to the vintage Selvedge jeans of the 1930s.

As many other SDA Jeans, the SD-D01 runs slightly small in the one wash version. In general, we recommend choosing one size larger than your usual. However, as always, we recommend checking the size chart first to find your perfect size. It is unsanforized but one washed, so there will be no shrinkage.
