What makes this fabric truly exceptional is its kakishibu-dyed weft, created from fermented persimmon extract. Unlike most wefts, this one visibly influences the indigo-dyed warp, resulting in a deep, warm blue tone with striking dimension. As with all kakishibu, the fabric evolves with sunlight exposure, developing a unique patina over time. This is a limited-edition fabric that Tanuki will not reproduce, making each pair all the more special.

The jeans feature a new loose straight fit—a modern silhouette with a high rise, roomy thighs, and no taper through the leg, offering both comfort and a contemporary look.
