Like many other TCB jeans, the Cats Drive model runs slightly small. In general, we recommend choosing one size larger than your usual, as is common with many Japanese one-wash models. However, as always, we recommend checking the size chart first to find your perfect size. It is unsanforized but one washed, so there will be no shrinkage.

TCB presents a faithful reproduction of one of the most iconic jeans in history, the vintage Lee 101B from the late 1940s. As with all TCB pieces, meticulous attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a commitment to achieving a perfect and faithful reproduction are evident throughout.

Denim: Crafted from left-hand twill, 3 by 1 constructed, 14.6oz sanforized fabric, TCB's denim pays homage to the vintage Lee 101 from the late 1940s. The cotton, known as EMOT, is harvested in East Memphis, New Orleans, and Texas. It features a left twill warp count of 5.7 and a weft count of 6.7. The unique blue color and the running warp of the left twill create a distinctive atmosphere.

Special Features: All pockets, regardless of size, are fixed from the sides so they do not interfere when riding astride a horse. The inner thigh is sewn with a rolled stitch for strength, but the sewing machine is set not to wrap the back side, reducing thickness. The leather patch is made of cowhide and is sewn using two stitches, top and bottom, allowing the belt to pass through the patch.

TCB (which stands for Two Cats Brand) is a Japanese label founded in Kojima by Hajime Inoue in 2012. It specializes in reproductions of the classic American denim icons produced from the 1920s to the 1960s. Among his garments, we can find some of the highest-quality reproductions we have ever seen, made in his own workshop on sewing machines more than a hundred years.
