Made from the brand’s original 10oz denim woven on vintage shuttle looms, the fabric is dyed to an exceptionally deep indigo that develops high-contrast fading and a rich, uneven texture over time. The iconic Wabash dot-stripe pattern is achieved through a carefully tested discharge process, ensuring the dots retain a natural, soft appearance rather than a harsh printed look.
Thoughtful construction details elevate the shirt’s character. The Western yoke is cut with the fabric rotated 90 degrees to create a subtle contrast with the body, while the chest pockets—flaps included—are perfectly pattern-matched so the stripes flow cleanly across the front. Two-needle chain-stitched rolled seams reinforce the main panels, and as the shirt breaks in, these stitches expand and contract with the fabric, producing the distinctive puckering that adds depth, texture, and striking fade variation.
