This is a meticulous Japanese reproduction inspired by the iconic Levi's denim jackets of the 1940s. Crafted from the renowned 14.5oz Zimbabwe cotton with a left-hand twill weave, this jacket pays homage to the "War Model" details produced during World War II, providing a unique vertical fading effect for an authentic vintage feel.

The distinctive left-hand twill Zimbabwe cotton denim fabric offers a vertical fading experience, creating a unique aesthetic. Despite the generally soft and smooth nature of extra-long staple Zimbabwe cotton, the fabric maintains a robust structure through an increased limit of weft thread insertions, resulting in profound vertical fades and high-contrast aging characteristics.

The transition from a triple-stitched construction to a double-needle chain stitch, influenced by wartime resource constraints, adds historical authenticity. The characteristic rounded chest pocket, with its softened flap edges, replicates the sewing specifications of the Levi's War Model, contributing to the overall vintage appeal.

The waist area, typically equipped with a cinch back and belt, is uniquely detailed with pleats and rivets, omitting the cinch back for a streamlined finish. The Flat Head's signature original rivets are employed, adding to the jacket's durability and style.
