The body is knit from the same heavyweight 9.3oz tubular jersey used across The Flat Head's popular THC T-shirt series. Produced through a high-density knitting technique known as "doze", the fabric is thick, structured, and remarkably resilient — with a hand feel and shape retention far superior to standard jersey. The tubular knit body has no side seams, eliminating the raised seam ridges that can cause irritation during long wear.

The placket buttons are vintage-style urea cat's-eye buttons — named for the small recess at their center that resembles a cat's eye. The recess protects the sewing thread from wear, ensuring buttons stay attached over years of use. Urea-resin buttons are heat- and impact-resistant — historically favored across military and workwear garments — and remain a hallmark of vintage-inspired construction today.
