Its innovative single rib knit fabric replicates the distinctive texture of "Gara spinning"—a method once used on old spinning machines that produced uniquely uneven, slubby yarn. At 11.8oz, this substantial single rib knit fabric features an intentionally uneven texture, creating a luxurious, hand-spun feel.

Enhanced for durability, the cardigan incorporates anti-stretch tape sewn from both shoulder lines to the back of the neck, as well as twilled cotton tape reinforcing the button placket and buttonholes. Additionally, an expertly applied fabric patch reinforces the back.
