Made from Horween Natural Chromexcel Roughout leather, originally developed for Marine boots in WWII, the exterior is rugged while the interior remains smooth and unlined for enhanced comfort. This leather is durable, military-grade, and designed to be worn with the rough side facing out, offering a balance between toughness and comfort.
The 2040 last’s semi-anatomical design offers a wider forefoot for more room across the ball of the foot, while the narrower waist and heel provide a secure fit. The slightly elevated toe box adds extra room, making the boot more comfortable for long-term wear, even in demanding conditions.
In terms of construction, the boot features #2 Caramel eyelets and a combination of Dr. Sole Raw Cord Sole and a French Oak Bark Tan leather sole, ensuring both durability and a refined look.
