The fabric is knit in Wakayama, Japan on tsuriami loopwheel machines that have been in continuous operation for over a century. The Super Looper French Terry pushes the boundaries of what the format can deliver: where traditional French Terry features a uniform, predictable loop-backed interior, this fabric is defined by its random, irregular loop structure — loops of varying size and density that create an exceptionally tactile surface, rich in texture and visual depth.

At 446 gsm / 13.2 oz, the cloth is substantial in every sense — heavy, warm, and enveloping, closer in feel to a quality towel than a standard sweatshirt lining. The exterior, by contrast, remains impeccably smooth, presenting a clean, classic sweatshirt face with none of the interior's visual noise.

The pullover is cut in a modern athletic fit and constructed with a level of detail that reflects the fabric's ambition. A ribbed binder collar features a vintage-style inlaid V gusset — a considered nod to classic American athletic heritage.
