Belonging to the Extra Long Staple (ELS) category, Suvin Gold is produced from the finest harvests of Suvin cotton—itself a hybrid of Indian Sujata cotton and the legendary Sea Island cotton. Only fibers from the first and second harvests are selected, resulting in an exceptionally limited material defined by its silky softness, natural luster, and outstanding durability.

The fabric is ring-spun in Japan and knitted in Wakayama on rare, century-old tsuriami knitting machines. Operating at an extremely slow pace—around one meter per hour—these machines create a fabric under low tension, preserving the integrity of the yarn. The result is a knit with a dense yet breathable structure, a velvety hand feel, and a natural elasticity that enhances comfort without relying on synthetic blends.

At 234 GSM (6.9 oz), the fabric strikes a perfect balance between substance and refinement. It drapes cleanly on the body while maintaining enough weight to feel premium and long-lasting. The texture is smooth yet alive, developing subtle character with wear.
