This t-shirt is made using century-old "Turi-Ami" circular knitting machines from the renowned Kanekichi Wakayama workshop in Japan. This workshop is one of only two in the world that has continued the art of making seamless garments using these vintage knitting machines for over a hundred years. These machines work with the gentle force of gravity, resulting in a knitted fabric without stress or tension. In contrast to modern machines that spin rapidly, loopwheel contraption turns at a leisurely 24 revolutions per minute. This slower pace creates a fabric that's both exceptionally soft and incredibly sturdy, making it the perfect material for crafting the best possible t-shirt that possesses a unique vintage charm that modern machines can't replicate.

Each individual t-shirt is built to last, with a fabric weight of 231 grams per square meter (equivalent to 6.8 ounces per square yard) by traditional standards. Despite its substantial weight, the fabric maintains a compact yet luxuriously smooth feel. And here's the best part – as you wash and wear the t-shirt, the fabric becomes even softer over time.
