Y'2 Leather KB140T Kakishibu Persimmon Tanned Horsehide Type I Jacket

Sale price €1.760,00

is horsehide masterpiece is an exceptional reinterpretation of the classic WWII Type I, crafted from 1.5mm thick horsehide and dyed using traditional kakishibu persimmon tannins. Initially light and earthy in tone, the leather darkens and evolves with sun exposure, developing a rich caramel patina that becomes more beautiful with age. Cut true to the original military silhouette with a short, slightly boxy fit, this jacket pairs perfectly with high-rise denim. Fully made in Japan, it is a piece defined by character, authenticity, and long-term evolution.

Y'2 Leather KB140T Kakishibu Persimmon Tanned Horsehide Type I Jacket

Fit Notes: The fit follows original WWII Type I specifications: short in length, straight through the body, and slightly boxy. This cut is designed to sit at the waist and works exceptionally well with high-rise jeans. It offers a structured silhouette without taper, allowing the leather to break in naturally and mold to the wearer over time. We recommend choosing your usual Japanese leather jacket size for the intended fit. As always, body types vary, so we strongly suggest consulting the size chart to ensure the best possible fit.

David wears a size 42 jacket. He is 185 cm (6'1") tall and weighs 76 kg (167 lbs). He typically wears a size 40–42 in Japanese brands (depending on the brand) and a size M or L in American brands.
