Kobashi Studio is a small Japanese Tokyo-based atelier specializing in solid brass accessories of the highest quality and detailing found today. Its founder Junichi Kobashi draws upon completely handcrafted production using vintage machinery and manual processes to create the most special and beautiful brass pieces we have ever seen. The production of Kobashi Studio is carried out by several small families of artisans located on the outskirts of Tokyo, backed by decades of brass-working tradition. Each artisan family specializes in different ways of processing brass, from the manual moulding of the key hooks to the polishing, press moulding and banding, for which they use chain-making machines that are more than 100 years old.
